10854721The U.S. Olympic Team just got even more American. Filling a void left by the now-defunct Dutch bank DSB, The Colbert Report is now an official sponsor of the U.S. Speed Skaters!

Said Colbert, "We must ensure that it is America's 38-inch thighs on that medal platform!"

“US Speedskating is thrilled to be able to create a unique partnership between one of the great entertainers in the industry and one of the great sports in the Olympic movement,” said [Executive Director of US Speedskating Bob] Crowley. “Embracing the U.S. Speedskating Team will provide immeasurable exposure for our sport and very talented athletes.”

And now the team needs your help to win the gold, Nation. Specifically, your money would help lots.

The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.
