59127899I'm not much for soothsaying. Whenever someone offers to tell me my fortune, I always respond, "I don't know how Jesus would feel about this."

But I guess I can make an exception when funny comedians are doing the foretelling (sorry, baby Jesus!) Comedy.com asked a bunch of comics what the next year has in store for us, and here are some of their predictions.

We begin at the top with the “World Champion” of comedy, 30 Rock’s Judah Friedlander.

“I predict that, to make up for the fact that I have not released a CD, I will release my first stand-up CD. It will be a box set of five CDs and will include a bonus 'Greatest Hits' CD."

(…)Mike Bridenstine, an L.A.-based stand-up who was a “New Face” at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival in 2009, and whom more people should and will know about in the year to come:

“Vin Diesel will come out of the closet. I have no joke for this. It’s just something he whispered into my ear one time.”

(…)Harrison Greenbaum, who performed in more than 700 comedy shows in 2009 and will co-host Times Square’s first-ever official Webcast of New Year’s Eve to ring in 2010:

“Snuggies will fade in popularity as their most regular users die of obesity.”

You should really click through and read all of the comedian predictions.

Do I have a prediction to share with you guys for the coming year? I predict that in the year 2010, NASA will finally develop an efficient propulsion system for exploring distant planets. It will be powered by America's boredom at the prospect of exploring distant planets. Do you guys have any good ones?
