Filmmaker Blake Edwards, director of such comedy classics as Breakfast at Tiffany's, 10 and all of the Peter Sellers Pink Panther movies, died last night of complications of pneumonia. Obviously, it's always sad when somebody dies, especially someone who contributed so much, but Blake Edwards lived to be 88, got to be married to Mary Poppins for 41 years and, by all outward indications, appeared to live a rich and full life, so let's just say, good job, Blake Edwards, you won at life.
