Famed physicist and previous Futurama guest-star Stephen Hawking is making headlines this week for asserting that human brains are computers, and "there is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers."

You'll notice he doesn't mention anything about hard-drinking, sass-talking robots though. And from the looks of today's Countdown item, there is an afterlife for them. (Click the image to enlarge.)

This still comes from the third episode of the upcoming season, Ghost in the Machines, which finds Bender's ghost haunting the Planet Express building.

Futurama's one-hour season premiere airs June 23 at 10/9c!
